As an Electrician at J4U Contracting Ltd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of electrical systems within residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will be utilized in various electrical installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
Perform troubleshooting to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical code specifications
Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems
Inspect electrical components to ensure they meet safety standards
Maintain accurate records of all work performed
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within deadlines
Follow all safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
Certification as a licensed Electrician in Canada or equivalent qualification from another country (Visa Sponsorship available)
Prior experience working as an Electrician in a construction or similar setting
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and codes/regulations
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Dedication to maintaining high safety standards at all times
Familiarity with Canadian electrical codes is preferred but not required (training can be provided)
