Job Responsibilities:
Assist residents with personal care activities including washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and assisting with meals.
Provide companionship and support to residents, enhancing their quality of life.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment within the home, including carrying out general housekeeping tasks.
Work closely with other team members to ensure that the physical, social, psychological, and emotional needs of the residents are met.
Accompany residents to appointments or outings as required.
Ensure confidentiality at all times with respect to the individual’s privacy.
Job Requirements:
Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential.
Genuine desire to help others and a commitment to providing high standards of care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Eligibility to work in the UK, with visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.
Education and Qualification:
No formal qualifications are required; however, NVQ Health and Social Care or equivalent is beneficial.
Training will be provided for candidates new to care.
